Kildara is a long-form series primarily concerned with the inherent relationships between family, memory, and land. The work is largely bound to the Florida Parishes region of Louisiana, with a majority of the photographs taken in and around the property where three generations of my mother’s family has lived.

As the series continues, the hope is that it will develop into a faithful documentation of the ever-changing physical remnants and cross-generational relationships of the family, property, and broader region as they continue to evolve on their own.
